IT’S A ‘MESH’, BUT IT’S USAGE IS ENDLESS

Hexagonal Wire Netting is used mainly in the poultry industry and other bird and animal cages and therefore is often referred to as ‘chicken mesh’, ‘chicken wire’, ‘poultry netting’, etc. However, its unrealized usage is endless.

Made of hot dipped galvanized wire, the wires are twisted in a straight and reverse direction to form a firm structure with hexagonal openings while maintaining a flat surface.

This structure and strength enables its usage beyond poultry netting to virtually any agro-based activity and domestic purposes on one front; while yet another usage is for reinforcement and fencing in industrial settings, and plastering of walls in the construction industry.

Common application sizes are based on hexagonal gaps of 1 inch (about 2.5 cm) diameter, 2 inch (about 5 cm) and 1/2 inch (about 1.3 cm) with wire of various gauge sizes.

Common applications:

  • Reinforcement
  • Poultry Cages
  • Fishing
  • Wall Plastering
  • Internal fencing
